A-Z OF THINGS TO DO IN VEGAS
I love Vegas, like seriously love it. So much so I am trying so hard to find a job that will allow me to move to Vegas. I’m not a big drinker, not fussed about gambling but VEGAS IS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!
A – ARIZONA HOT SPRINGS
The Arizona hot springs are one of the coolest things I have found in Vegas. It is about a 40 minute drive out past Hoover Damn and about a an hour and a half scramble through the desert and canyon. You can find out far more about these amazing natural pools here.
B – BLUEBERRY HILL DINER
Get off the strip and check out a more family friendly locals diner. Bluberry Hill has left me craving the nicest French Toast with avocado and bacon and ham and cheese and just all sorts of amazing stuff! Find them here
C – CONTAINER PARK
It is exactly what it sounds like! A series of containers all piled together to make a unique shopping, dining and entertainment experience by independent entities 5 minutes from Freemont street. Fronted by a flame throwing Preying Mantis from Burning Man its a refreshing change from the uniformity of the Strip.
D – DIG THIS, DRIVE A BULDOZER IN BOLDER CITY
I have never done this but to be honest it looks pretty blinkin cool! Check it out here!
E – EIFFEL TOWER AT THE PARIS
Why not go and have a glass of champagne looking over the Strip or a romantic meal.
F – FOUNTAINS AT THE BELLAGIO
These are just magical every time, day or night i cant get enough. So much so we made sure to get our room bumped up at Planet Hollywood to overlook both the Paris Balloon & Eiffel Tower as well as the fountains. It was magical we sat there every night before bed and watched a show.
G – GORDEN RAMSEY ‘BURGR’
This is at Planet Hollywood right inside the Casino. Gordon really shows up the Americans with his fabulously tasty burgers and fries. I am not a burger person but I have been back twice it was that nice!
H – HASH HOUSE A GO GO
Again I go back here everytime! I blame Adam from Man v Food for this little find although we dine at the one at the Linq rather than the original as featured on the show. It is open 24hours so if like us Jet lag gets you and you are up at 2am starving head on down for chicken, waffles and avocado! FIT!!
I – ICE SKATIN AT THE COSMOPOLITAIN
We can not comment on this from personal experience as I always go in the fall but I love the idea!

K – KAYAK EMERALD COVE
This is one for us to try in September so expect a full review by the fall.
L – LE REVE AT THE WYNN
Ok, So this is THE most breath taking show in Vegas. If you love shows DO NOT GO AND SEE THIS until you have seen every other show you want to see in Vegas. We have seen a fair few over the years and we hadn’t even heard of this until that jet lagged walk of the strip and saw the poster on the side of the Wynn. I cant explain how much this show blew my mind, if you want to check out some more about it you can do here.
M – MGM HOTEL
It really is a grand hotel, There is so much to see and do if you can spend a day at the pools the lazy river is just perfect.
N – NATIONAL ATTOMINC TESTING MUSEUM
This is on my to do list for this year!
O – OLD TOWN OTHERWISE KNOWN AS DOWNTOWN
Going downtown is brilliant, Go and visit the Freemont Street Experience
P – PRO GUN CLUB
Who doesn’t want to shoot a machine gun in the desert!
Q – QUIT WHILE YOUR AHEAD ON THE SLOTS
Don’t blow all your money on the slots, if you really like watching the pretty lights like I do then downgrade the pennies and order yourself a glass of champagne for the bargain $1 tip!
R – ROLLERCOASTER AT NY NY
It’s a one off novelty to do this coaster, I would say ride it at night it is so pretty trying to focus on the lights of the strip while whizzing around the skyline of New York.
S – STRATOSPHERE
Eat at the Top of the World restaurant, ride the rides or just step off the side of the tallest tower in Vegas! The Strat is the half way mark of the strip and the best view of the all the town has to offer.
T – TELEVISION CITY BY CBS AT THE MGM
Love tv? why not sign up and go and watch some pilots as a test audience?
U – UNIFY…..GO CHECK OUT THE WEDDING CHAPELS
Vegas is known for gettin hitched but even if your not wanting to get wed why not take a walk along the chapels and see what they have to offer. It’s great fun seeing all the different people and how they wish to do it.
V – VEGAS SIGN
No brainer, go get a selfie. Go early morning because the queues get huge!!
W – WET REPUBLIC
The ultimate of pool parties, check out their schedule and you could see artists such as Calvin Harris perform while you party in the sun!
X – XS NIGHTCLUB
Encore at the Wynn has XS nightclub which is situated at the outdoor pools, you will find excellent Dj’s and party rooms as well as chill out areas around the pool.
Y – Yawn! Even with the additional oxygen pumped into the casinos you are going to feel the tiredness!
Z – ZZZZZZZZ
Do not underestimate how much Vegas and its basking sun will take it out of you, sleep when you need it no matter what time you are awake there is something to do in Vegas!
